I've decided they're mostly the same.
1. When you start the whole process, you just feel sick. Am I actually ready for this? Is it possible to be ready for this?
2. It's long. And the roller coaster is as follows: "I own you, parenthood/GRE! I'm gonna rock it! Actually, no, I'm f***ed! No, I'm the smartest person ever!"
3. You get toward the end, and you start to get sentimental. Ah. The beginning wasn't so long ago, and look! It's almost over. Look how much you've changed. Look at how close the future is. You've done it. *tears*
4. About a week after that, you're just like, ready or not, I don't care. Just get this effing baby outta me.
And then you'll probably never sleep again.
