PSA for the day: driving 15 mph over the speed limit is not worth it. It buys you five minutes, if you're lucky, which btw, is not enough if you're actually running really, truly late.
And if you're not lucky, it buys you a $191.50 traffic ticket that you have to take to the courthouse when you find it in a stack of autism paperwork you haven't filled out yet...on the day of your appointed court date.
And then you leave your screaming, convulsing, and kind of violent preschooler with friends who probably think they've never seen a child so badly behaved. You spend 20 frantic minutes trying to find a parking place in the same vague vicinity as the courthouse, and run inside with your 30-pound toddler on your hip while crying and sweating and praying nobody suspends your license.
Or, well, maybe it would be a little less specific for you. But I promise; it would still suck.
